Welcome to Taste of L.A. Café, a delightful café nestled in the heart of Quezon City at 171 Don A. Roces Ave. This charming venue is not just a place to grab a bite; it’s a genuine experience where California-inspired cuisine meets a cozy, inviting atmosphere.

The moment you step inside, you’ll be greeted by a warm ambiance that feels both intimate and comfortable—perfect for casual meetings, a peaceful solo retreat, or a lovely meal with someone special. The café’s layout, though slightly compact, adds to its charm, fostering a close-knit and engaging environment.

At Taste of L.A. Café, the menu offers a variety of delectable dishes that capture the essence of Californian flavors with a local twist. Indulge in their Oysters Rockefeller, which have garnered rave reviews for being "super yummy" with their creamy texture and generously sized oysters. For those seeking something lighter, the Asian Salad is a must-try, celebrated for its freshness and taste—Fran Benedito even rated it 100/5! If you’re a pizza aficionado, the Spinach Cream Cheese Pizza promises delightful flavors, though it might not be the go-to for non-pizza lovers.

One of the highlights of dining here is the communal joy of sharing food! Customers have enjoyed their meals enough to express excitement in their reviews; Roniel Garcia sums it up perfectly stating, "Great ambiance, good coffee, and generous portions!" Each bite is crafted to satisfy, ensuring that you feel every peso spent is worth it.

While the café shines in many aspects, like its friendly and attentive staff, it does come with minor caveats, such as packaging practices that might need improvement, as mentioned by Joseph Dela Cruz. However, the overall experience still leaves guests eager to return, like Dani Lagatuz, who speaks fondly of her family's Mother’s Day outing, where the Oysters Rockefeller stole the spotlight!

Whether you are a local or just visiting, Taste of L.A. Café beckons you to indulge in good food, great coffee, and a charming ambiance that makes every meal memorable. Reserve a table or just drop by to treat yourself to the delightful tastes of L.A. right in the heart of the Philippines. This café truly stands as a culinary gem waiting to be discovered!

Oyster was fresh and good. But filipino cuisine was a bit salty to foreigners.

Food was good and the service was great. The only downside was that our leftover takeout was packed in a reusable plastic container, then placed inside a plastic bag—which is actually prohibited in QC. The place has an intimate vibe, though the layout feels a bit cramped. Overall, it’s a nice spot, but there’s still room for improvement. Definitely a must visit.

My family and I went here on Mother’s Day. This restaurant is my sister’s favorite—she’s obsessed with the Oyster Rockefeller! There was no drink menu provided; you have to ask for it. I wouldn’t say it’s kid-friendly—the atmosphere is very quiet, more suited for adults looking to enjoy an intimate lunch or dinner. That said, we’ll definitely be back!

Nice cozy place for dinner date with friends and/or loved ones. It's located on Roces Ave. near Tomas Morato Ave. The atmosphere is very intimate. The food is quite pricey but worth it. The asian salad and paella are both delicious! Would highly recommend. What I don't recommend is going there alone. Their service is quite slow. I went there with my friends and we waited for 30 to 45 minutes before our food was served. We didn't notice and mind the wait time because we were catching up and chatting about stuff. We only realized we waited that long after spending some time at the place.. or something like that. If you're alone and/or quite impatient, you may get annoyed with the wait time. I probably won't come back here because I'm poor and I can't really afford their pricey food choices. If you're rich and don't mind splurging on food, go ahead and give this place a try.
